In case y'all haven't heard, Major League Baseball has changed its mind and has now decided to let Dirk throw out the first pitch of the Texas Rangers home game of the World Series on Saturday at about 7pm.

Michele, you beat me to it!!  I just logged on to start a thread about our Dirk throwing out the first pitch!!! Isn't is awesome!! Out here it is on at 5:00!!! I am gonna be glued to the TV, cold beer in hand!! ;)It's been so long sinse seeing Dirk!!!  Ladies I'd start watching about a half hour before, to be sure to see Dirk!!!  |

Guess who didn't get to see Dirk throw out the first pitch? Instead I was shopping online for gifts for a baby shower for next Saturday and missed the whole thing. I'm a bad girl.   |

Dirk looked cute!! But if you blicked your eyes you woulda missed him!! ???It was so fast, than onto the game. I thought they would make more of a presentation of him. Oh well, even getting to see a glimpse of him is better than nothing.  And boy did the Rangers lose bad!!  Very cool they won today!!! Go Rangers!! |

I feel kind of bad that the Rangers lost but it seems like the 6th game loos took all of the wind out of their sails and they just didn't have the heart to play a good game in Game 7. Now with that being said, if the rangers had played against anyone else I would have been cheering them on as it were they played the Cardinals. And it is tied between them and the Pittsburgh Pirates as far as who is my favorite baseball team, so yes, Dirk or no Dirk, I'm happy the Redbirds won last night.
