European Championship 2011

YAY! This just came in: According to the DBB (which is the NBA of Germany) Dirk and Chris Kaman are taking part in this year's European Championship tournament in Lithuania, August 31st- September 18th 2011).

In a statement Dirk said that his break was pretty short, but he wants to help the relatively young German team to be successful. He's doing everything he can do become super-fit again and that he's looking forward to his time with the guys.

Chris Kaman said that it had been already fun to play for Germany in 2008. He thinks that he might be able to help the German national team.

Chris did tweet about having a German passport. But he sounds a little bored and is itching to play basketball again. Dirk maybe about the same when comes to playing.

I haven't heard back from Chris but Dirk just posted a tweet: "Gonna represent my country at Euro championship this summer. Should be fun. Gotta start training next week. Back in Germany now." Cuban should be really thrilled about this news.

And as always Dirk takes the responsibility... But I hope he'll get some rest now and can charge his batteries again... Who knows how long the lockout will continue...
