... Oh, I forgot to mention: It just hit me that last year around this time the picture of Dirk and the tequila bottle, which had been taken in Miami, had appeared on the net. I wonder if he could've imagined then that one year later he would be back in Miami and come out as a NBA champion actually?!  Guess it's time to replace the tequila bottle with champagne...   |

Talk about coming full circle. He finally won his championship. Ironic that it would be in Miami. Perhaps this time last year when he was watching the finals, he would not have believed it when anyone told him that next year would be his. lol This year he's got more to be happy about. And what a nice way to begin your summer vacation. How exciting for all of the Mavs to be able to share in this moment together. As a team, they worked hard to reach this goal and win the title, together. There is going to be one heck of a party in Dallas ladies. Get ready to kick your heels up. lol |

So this success is that much sweeter because he stuck it out to the end. I have no doubt that he will succeed at any other goals he wants to fulfill. I think he has the Olympics coming up with the German national team. This is the year to make things happen. Wouldn't it be awesome if he helped his country make it to the Olympics next year? Talk about icing on the cake. I know he can do it. |
