Yes I know, but I thought I would go and get this link started because, at least as far as I am concerned, If the Mavericks couldn't make it to the Finals and represent the West at least San Antonio could. You may thank Avery Johnson for getting me interested in both the Spurs, when he played for them, and the Mavs, when he coached them, because I've followed his career since he was in college at Southern University in Louisiana.

I think Avery is a good guy and a good coach and needs another chance in the NBA.

Oh my gosh! Did y'all read about the bird attack on a San Antonio intern in Argentina that was attacked by a bird and then had his backpack stolen with Manu Ginobili's signed contract? Poor kid.
